Bluffing Strategy For Women

Poker is a game which has many entities that are collectively used to play the poker game with ease and relish. Bluffing is one aspect of the game that needs to be perfected before it is tried with professional players. When you are bluffing it is seen that people tend to show a lot of emotion or no emotion at all. Both these aspects are bad for the player as it may cause you to lose the pot at stake.
When men play it is easy for them to conceal their bluffing nature as their work with the outside world helps them to school their features to perfection.
Consider the following simple bluff when you are lying to your boss. You will obviously have thought about what you would be telling your boss beforehand. This is the same nature that needs to be used when bluffing during a poker game. Consider the fact that you have pocket aces you will either tell your opponents that the hand you possess is of a lower value thus forcing them to play their hand.

When bluffing you need to take into account the following aspects:
- Position
- concealing emotions
When you are considering your position it is a good thing to know that there are two types of players in the game of poker. The players sitting to the immediate left of the dealer get the chance to play earlier in the game and thus they have the opportunity to raise the pot before the turn. On the other hand they have a disadvantage of not being able to guess the cards of the other players, i.e., the late players who can read the probable bluffs and cards of the other players playing before them.
Bluffing in the start of the game requires a lot of art and perfection as if you are caught you will either lose your hand or you will be forced to capitalize on a very small pot size.
Your face tells the other players whether you are comfortable with the cards that you have in hand at the time of a bluff. Shifty eyes and tense eyebrows along with sweaty and nervous hands are all features that are looked out for by poker players.
Concealing emotion is an art that needs to be learnt by players if they need to strike it rich in a game of poker.
Men and women both have a different way of betting and bluffing. Women are tentatively slower to bluff while men are aggressive. Aggressive bluffers get the advantage as they can turn the game in their favor by raising the pot according to their comfort zone. Slow or defensive bluffers have a little chance to gain advantage as they are not able to raise the pot enough to force other individuals or even capitalize on another's bluff as they might be forced out due to a short stack.
Thus, when a girl is playing poker she needs to avoid playing an elusive game and initiate the attack before the male players do if she wants to have a chance of winning.
